John Cena recently found himself in some water that we all suspected would have been of the hot variety due to Cena alluding to both Jon Moxley and CM Punk in a promo that was heard as he went toe to toe with Roman Reigns on a recent episode of Smackdown. Much to our surprise, Vince McMahon praised John Cena’s work on the mic. Even though the boss is happy, that doesn’t mean that the entire locker room would be happy with the promo especially if you were also mentioned in the promo like Seth Rollins was….Seth Rollins ‘Rejects’ WWE Diva Romance Storyline.
Seth Rollins recently spoke out about John Cena mentioning him in a scathing promo against Roman Reigns to where John Cena stated that Roman was the reason why Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley) left. John continued forward and scathed Roman for being the reason why The Shield (including Seth Rollins) was no more.
Seth Rollins had a little bit to say about this as he recently revealed in an interview: “(Laughs) I had a good chuckle about it. John likes to cross some lines occasionally if you look at his history of promos in the ring, especially his face-to-face promos heading into big matches. He likes to cross the line.”
Glad to see Seth taking it all in stride.
