UFC President Dana White takes a good care of the fighters and due to potential injuries sustained in their bouts, seven fighters were handed 180-day medical suspensions by the Nevada Athletic Commission, which oversaw the event.
Among those handed six-month terms were featherweight contenders Jose Aldo (31-7 MMA, 21-6 UFC) and Rob Font (19-4 MMA, 9-5 UFC), who competed in the main event and suffered eye injuries as a result of their battle. Jamahal Hill, Jimmy Crute, Brendan Allen, Dusko Todorovic, and Alonzo Menifield, who competed on the undercard, also were suspended 180 days for various potential injuries.
On Tuesday, MMA Junkie had reported a full list of medical suspensions from MixedMartialArts.com, the official record keeper of the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC). All fighters’ suspensions can terminate sooner, should they be cleared by a doctor.

- Leonardo Santos: Suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days.
- Chris Curtis: No suspension.
- Brendan Allen: Suspended 180 days or until left hand x-ray and MRI are cleared by doctor; also suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days.
- Alex Morono: No suspension.
- Mickey Gall: Suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days.
- Dusko Todorovic: Suspended 180 days or until left foot/ankle MRI is cleared by doctor; also suspended 21 days with no contact for 14 days.
- Maki Pitolo: Suspended 45 days with no contact or 30 days due to laceration under left eye.
- Manel Kape: No suspension.
- Zhalgas Zhumagulov: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days.
- Bryan Barberena: Suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days.
- Darian Weeks: Suspended 21 days with no contact for 14 days.
- Cheyanne Vlismas: Suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days for “hard fight.”
- Mallory Martin: Suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days.
- William Knight: No suspension.
- Alonzo Menifield: Suspended 180 days or until left knee MRI cleared by doctor; also suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days.
- Claudio Puelles: No suspension.
- Chris Gruetzemacher: Suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days.
- Vince Morales: No suspension.
- Louis Smolka: Suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days.
