It has been noted that WWE star Kevin Owens missed this week’s edition of SmackDown that took place in the famous arena, Madison Square Garden. KO has drawn a lot of attention from the fans with his Twitter activities recently. He tweeted out the coordinates of Mt. Rushmore, the name of his stable with The Young Bucks and Adam Cole prior to signing with WWE, and he changed his location the “Almost There.” The Young Bucks changed their location to: “There”. Kevins Owens was planned for a segment on SmackDown
Owens and Happy Corbin were planned to have a segment during WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden. However, that angle was nixed from the show. The company also canceled a women’s tag team match. Ringside News reported that they had asked around about the company’s decision to shorten the MSG show. They were told that “the behind the scenes explanation was cut for time.”
It is understood that Vince McMahon wanted to cut the segment to manage the time and it seems KO is going nowhere as of now. The talks of him leaving is premature at this point. There are a lot of factors that could play into his final decision.We will see how things pan out going forward.
