Khabib Reveals How Much Money He Made In UFC

Khabib Nurmagomedov is undoubtedly one of the best MMA fighters in the history of the MMA world and finally ended his career while still being undefeated and at the top. Since his retirement, Khabib has been enjoying life in other ways. Nurmagomedov’s last professional MMA fight took place back in October 2020. He earned a second-round submission victory over Justin Gaethje to successfully retain the UFC Lightweight Title. After the bout, an emotional Nurmagomedov told Jon Anik that his fighting career is over. He mentioned a promise he made to his mother of never fighting again after the death of his father Abdulmanap. Khabib also revealed why he really tired from the MMA world.

Bellator champion AJ McKee has called out Khabib Nurmagomedov in a new MMA Junkie video interview, “I saw a post that talked about Khabib being Coach of the Year. F*** that! Antonio McKee’s Coach of the Year, period. Period. 22 years in the making. You have a fighter that’s undefeated step out of the sport. Nothing against him, and what he’s doing, what he’s done – Great things for him. (But) Coach of the Year is Antonio McKee. And I feel that that’s the respect and the recognition he deserves.”

Khabib recently spoke on the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, where he revealed why he turned down an offer of $100 million to box Floyd Mayweather. Khabib’s net worth is $40 million, and he said having that money can be weird.

I don’t wanna make boxing community upset with me. Of course money makes sense too. But I never fight for money. Money is good, but most of the time it is bad. Money brings you to the situation that you have never been, and you don’t know how to act when you have so much money. It is a little bit dangerous. In this business, I don’t come to make money. I come here for legacy

I am not interested about how much money you’re gonna give me. I already said I am retired and that’s it. This makes sense, more than money. Of course, I have a lot of business because I want to make money. But this business, fighting business for me is not for making money… I know I was not here to make money in this business. I just wanted to become the best in the world,”
