Lacey Evans’ push not stopping anytime soon

WWE has a tendency of making creative decisions that fans largely hate and when they result in a long-term push, the fans only get more frustrated.

Lacey Evans has been on the receiving end of a push for a while now and as reported by Brad Shepard, Vince McMahon is still very high on her. So we can expect her push to continue even after Extreme Rules.

According to a source in #WWE, you can expect Lacey Evans to stay in the spotlight for quite some time. Vince McMahon is really high on her, and she won’t be going away no matter what happens on Sunday at Extreme Rules.

Evans will be taking part in a mixed tag match at Extreme Rules where the team that is victorious will walk away with both the Universal and RAW Women’s Titles. We do wonder whether WWE will decide to have both Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans win the match and become champions.

Regardless of what happens in the match, Lacey Evans’ push will not stop.

“Sasha Banks, the Kenny Omega of the WWE Women’s Division and Bayley, the John Cena of the WWE Women’s Division.”

LOL! You should consider doing stand-up comedy.

  • Wicka Steve

There’s a difference between “high society” and “people make good farm equipment”.

  • Luke

….that’s her gimmick though. High society. You’re supposed to hate her.

  • Matthew Carter

Toni Storm is already million times better than Lacey. Vince should have made the call to Rosemary from Impact when she was a free agent and given her what she wanted. Rosemary would have been such a draw for WWE.

  • EVH

She’s just keeping the spot warm for when Toni Storm arrives on the main roster.

  • Wicka Steve

Tell me she doesn’t look like she just walked off a plantation.

  • Matthew Carter

Yes he has, which is why I’m hoping when Sasha returns, she turns heel, fueds with Bayley, and giving us a good match like we saw between those two at NXT: TakeOver Brooklyn 2015. That match was the blueprint for the women’s division and women’s revolution. Sasha Banks, the Kenny Omega of the WWE Women’s Division and Bayley, the John Cena of the WWE Women’s Division.

  • Can’tGetNo…Stratusfaction

Ronda, yes, but Vince has proven in the past that he’ll stop Sasha’s momentum for literally anyone.

  • Matthew Carter

This “source” most not have heard the news- word out on the street is Ronda Rousey’s return, just like Sasha Banks return, is imminent. That means Lacy’s push ends after Extreme Rules or at SummerSlam. Vince will choose Sasha and/Ronda over Lacey, everytime, because they are money and ratings draws.

  • Wicka Steve

She’s terrible and looks like the kind of person that uses the word “colored”. She’s nothing special in the ring and her finisher is a joke.

  • CC

I am gonna be honest and say I cannot stand her gimmick as it is so cliched, and her in ring work is not amazing, but if WWE is actually behind her and her in ring work can improve as she goes (much like Strowman did), then fair play. I do think she has a lot of potential.

  • ROB-1.

How long will her push last? Liked the punch she gave the man on Raw.
