Lana was one of the stars who got released from WWE yesterday due to budget cuts. He previous had a stint in the company as the manager of Rusev(now known as Miro in AEW).
The pair had quite a run together and while she was his manager, Miro had also captured the WWE United States Championship.
Lana could be heading to AEW
AEW President Tony Khan could target the released stars to offer them to join AEW. The Ravishing Russian could be one of the prime targets as Miro, her real life husband is also signed with the company. They could once again be paired to run their dominance in AEW. Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio said Lana was a great manager, she would be solid reunited with Rusev, but he is uncertain if AEW wants to retread that act.
Miro is currently the AEW TNT Champion which he won by defeating Darby Allin recently.
We will see if Lana gets signed with AEW and even if she does, the question is whether Tony Khan will walk in the path of WWE, that is to pair her with Miro. Only time will tell.
