Liv Morgan Drops Vince McMahon Bombshell

Vince McMahon recently announced his retirement from his roles as Chairman and CEO of WWE. It was later clarified that he was also done with his work on creative. Some reports have emerged regarding hisĀ backstage performance as well. It was revealed thatĀ  Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan will serve as Co-CEOs of WWE, while Triple H is EVP of Talent Relations. Many have reacted to the news and the reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion recently reflected on the new changes in WWE.

Liv Morgan talks about the new management

AsĀ ā€˜The Mirror’ outlet were planning to do their interview with Morgan, news became public that Triple H taking on the role as creative lead for WWE. Here was Morgan’s immediate reaction:

“We’re excited. We’re in great hands.”

Morgan said the news of McMahon’s exit was a shock and felt sudden, but she’s excited to work with new co-CEOs Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan. She said Stephanie was born into this business so she’s great for the role:

“We were all shocked. And it felt sudden. But we all owe so much to Vince. So if he felt like it was time, then it was time. We’re also excited to be working with Stephanie and Nick [Khan]. Stephanie was born into this business, so there’s literally no one better for the job than her.”

“We’re all so excited and we’re just ready to go to work. We’re all just ready to take it to the next level.”

WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event is set to take place this Saturday, July 30. The card is stacked with some huge matches and the SmackDown Women’s Title is going to be defended as champion Liv Morgan puts her title on the line against Ronda Rousey.
