Former WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan is certainly one of the most popular superstars in the company. However, she recently found herself in hot waters and battled legal troubles.
It has come to light that the legal case involving WWE superstar Liv Morgan in Sumter County, Florida, has reached its conclusion.
Back in December last year, Liv Morgan was arrested during a traffic stop and faced charges of possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams), possession of drug equipment, and possession of drugs, potentially synthetic cannabinoids. The most serious charge, possession of drugs (possibly synthetic cannabinoid), was dropped in January due to a lack of evidence.
Late last month, Liv Morgan’s attorney entered plea of Nolo-Contendere for one of the charges. Nolo-Contendere means that Morgan accepted conviction as if a guilty plea had been entered but does not officially admit guilt to the charges.
It is noted that as part of the legal resolution, Liv Morgan has been fined $543.00. The court records do not mention any further punishment beyond the fine.
Meanwhile, most recently, Liv Morgan made her return to WWE from shoulder injury at the 2024 Royal Rumble and is scheduled to compete at the WWE Elimination Chamber event in Perth, Australia, later this month.
