Logan Paul was the headline of this year’s WWE Crown Jewel event. He was performing at a level where he had to dethrone the current WWE Universal Champion. The match went well, but Paul paid a price for going extreme in his approach and delivery of the product.
Paul shared a video of himself joking about the injury with his brother Jake on Instagram Live. Another video showed his girlfriend pushing him around in a wheelchair while holding crutches.Paul headlined this year’s Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, eventually losing to Reigns in a match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.Â
Both The Bloodline and members of Paul’s entourage, including his brother Jake, interfered in the match’s conclusion.Â
Following Paul’s dive that took out members of The Bloodline, as Paul re-entered the ring, Reigns capitalised with the Superman punch, then won with a spear.
The 24 minute 50 second match had its moments and the fans loved every bit of it for the entertainment value. Paul also informed about his health via Twitter where he gave an update on what transpired during the match. He tweeted: “torn meniscus, MCL & potentially ACL happened halfway through the match. keep y’all updated 👍🏼”
