Survivor Series will be taking place later on in the month and the company has already added to the card by having three qualifying matches on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
King Corbin beat Rey Mysterio after Seth Rollins distracted Mysterio, which allowed Corbin to pick up the win. Corbin will be competing at Survivor Series instead of Mysterio.
Ruby Riott vs Natalya vs Zelina Vega was held as well. Riott ultimately won the match after she made Vega submit and secured a spot in the Smackdown Women’s Survivor Series team.
Later on in the night, Otis faced off against Seth Rollins to fill up a spot on the Smackdown Men’s Survivor Series team. Rollins ended up winning the match and received his spot on the team. Murphy was present ringside and watched Rollins.
