Jeff Hardy is currently involved in a feud with Sheamus that has certainly caught the ire of fans. The storyline focuses on Hardy’s history with addiction and many fans find it tasteless. It seems fans are not the only one who is concerned.
Jeff Hardy’s brother Matt Hardy took to Twitter and expressed his concern over Jeff’s storyline in WWE. He started worrying once the storyline brought up Jeff’s personal struggles with drugs and alcohol, as well as his run-ins with the law.
Matt Hardy believes his brother could be under a lot of pressure and suffer a relapse.
I’m very happy with how AEW has let me brand my persona. Allowing me to help younger talent on & off screen, while also respectfully celebrating my legacy & contributions to the industry. I have those same concerns about the unneeded pressure on my brother.
Hardy was also asked by fans regarding Jeff’s current storyline. He said that he thinks his brother looks incredible inside the ring and praised his in-ring showing. He then said that he has respect for his brother and agrees it is his decision in the end.

It is likely Jeff will face Sheamus in a bar fight at Extreme Rules if rumors are to be believed.
