While Vince McMahon has claimed that his role in WWE will not change with the launch of XFL, this doesn’t seem to be the case as Mr. McMahon has missed a number of shows recently.
Vince has missed both Raw and SmackDown episodes in the past month and the latest episode of SmackDown Live was also the same.
Bryan Alvarez had reported before the show started that the Chairman of the board was not in the arena for the episode broadcasted from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Though he was going over the script for the show through phone and in a later update, Dave Meltzer had claimed that The Boss tore up the plans for the show and rewriting them. He went on to say “Good or bad, this is a heavy Vince show tonight.”
