This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw ended with Becky Lynch leading the SmackDown Women’s division and unleashing an attack on the Raw Women’s division.
However, it appears that the original plans for this invasion angle were a little different and it could have turned into a possible long-term storyline.
WrestleVotes twitter account noted recently that the original plans for this invasion angle were for the Raw roster to be tipped off about it prior to the attack.
This would have then become a possible long-term storyline with Shane McMahon trying to figure out who was the traitor from their brand:
Heard of a really intriguing storyline that isn’t happening, but worth noting. The idea was that SD will invade RAW tonight, but prior to it, someone from RAW would be tipped off, thus creating a “traitor” storyline. Shane would then work to find who alerted RAW they were coming.

It’s unknown whether the whole SmackDown roster was expected to be part of this angle or if only the female stars would have been involved as seen on Raw.
Though it’s very likely that either the female stars from the Red Brand or the whole Raw locker room will try to invade SmackDown tonight and it will be interesting to see if they succeed.
