NXT’s next phase under the USA Network as a weekly two-hour show is expected to be heavily scripted according to Dave Meltzer. This brings in an interesting tussle along with AEW who are also set to feature on Wednesday nights on the TNT network.

AEW won’t be leaning on promos too much and Meltzer also noted that the company is not looking to hire any more writers. It is being said that the AEW wrestlers would be having the freedom to cut their own promos at will and won’t be confined to a particular script.
NXT so far has been a heavily wrestling oriented program with the majority of the single hour dedicated to it. NXT will premiere on the USA Network on Wednesday, September 18 from Full Sail Live in Winter Park, FL
