NXT has gone from being a “developmental brand” to getting its own live weekly show on the USA Network. With Superstars like Finn Balor going back to the black and yellow brand, it is more or less a part of the main roster at this point.
Now, as announced during the Crown Jewel pay-per-view, NXT will officially be a part of the Survivor Series event this year. Superstars from NXT will go up against Superstars from RAW and SmackDown this year.
This announcement should get the hardcore NXT fanbase hyped as they’ve been very vocal about wanting to see their favorite NXT Superstars go up against the RAW and SmackDown roster. With three brands going to war in a battle of supremacy, this year’s Survivor Series should surely be an event to watch.
