Paige Buries Female WWE Star: ‘A Clown’

The pro wrestling world is a dangerous business as pro wrestlers put their bodies on the line every week to entertain their fans. Their bodies go through a lot of wear and tear over the years and it is no shock if a pro wrestler gets injured at any moment during a match. This happened to several WWE Superstars as well, many of whom had to end their careers permanently. Paige also leaked a mugshot photo to WWE fans earlier in the year.

Sonya Deville was not seen on WWE television since her loss to Mandy Rose at WWE SummerSlam in a ‘Loser leaves WWE’ match. In actuality, she was taking time off to deal with her stalker case.

Sonya Deville made her surprise return to the company during the first episode of Friday Night Smackdown last year. Since then she has been busy with her on-screen role alongside Adam Pearce.

She has also been engaged in a feud with Naomi. Recently, Paige called herself the best General Manager and this led to Sonya Deville stating that she has far surpassed Paige in that role. Paige took to Twitter and decided to reply to Sonya Deville, as she blasted her and called her a clown shoe, and told Naomi to defeat her.

Paige was announced as WWE SmackDown General Manager the day after revealing her in-ring retirement on the April 10th, 2018 edition of WWE SmackDown Live, this would disband her group Absolution in the process. She would stay in this role until December of that same year.

Could Sonya Deville or Paige show up at this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match? The WWE Royal Rumble 2022 will air live on Saturday, January 29, 2021. The show will start at 7 p.m. EST. The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis is the site of the WWE Royal Rumble 2022. Last year, Tropicana Field hosted the event but no fans were allowed due to COVID-19 safety protocols.
