Bianca Belair has been a bright spot in the women’s division for quite some time. It was clear in NXT that she had the potential to be something special. With her athleticism, charisma, and in-ring ability, she was clearly a bonafide star.
When Bianca Belair first came to the main roster, WWE seemingly didn’t know what to do with her. However, now that she’s on the Blue Brand, things have changed. The Est of WWE put on a great showing at Survivor Series and seems to be kicking off a feud with Bayley.
On Talking Smack, Belair talked about wanting to prove herself against the former SmackDown Women’s Champion. While on the show, Paul Heyman had some strong words to say about her.
“I would be remiss if I don’t also let Bianca know, and I think she knows this quite well. You’re the future of the women’s division. And that’s a word that’s thrown around here a lot. ‘Oh I’m the future this,’ but you are. You are an athlete with amazing credentials. You bring those credentials and that credibility to WWE. What you do is truly worthy of the tagline ‘The Est of WWE.’ I am in awe of the magnitude of the talent. You know my feelings about the Street Profits. Those same feelings of admiration are bestowed upon you as well.”
Bianca Belair has star written all over her, and it’s clear that the advisor to the Tribal Chief feels the same way. She was someone that, after the Four Horsewomen era in NXT, really stood out to fans. Along with Asuka, Ember Moon, Shayna Baszler, and Rhea Ripley, the WWE Universe knew the potential she had.
Though she never held gold in NXT, the future is incredibly bright on SmackDown. With a feud against the longest-reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion, clearly, WWE has big plans for Belair.
