WWE SmackDown Results: November 27, 2020

In-Ring – Jey Uso

We did that, after Survivor Series, everyone is talking about the farewell to the Undertaker Usse. What we SHOULD be talking about, is how the Big Dog represented! I’m talkin’ about the man that represented SmackDown? Who represented the bloodline? Who went toe-to-toe with Drew McIntyre? He ain’t no pushover! He beat Randy Orton! He went out there and beat Brock Lesnar! Guess what? At Survivor Series, he ain’t beat my cousin! And let me introduce to you. Drew will always be #2. My cousin will always be #1. I am talking about the UNIVERSAL CHAMPION. The head of the table. Best of the best. My…”

Roman Reigns Enters

Before Jey can finish the introduction, Reigns entrance theme sounds. Roman Reigns makes his way to the stage accompanied by his “special counsel” Paul Heyman. Reigns stands with a straight face as the pyro goes off around him, Heyman staring at Reigns. Roman holds the Universal Championship title above his head before making his way down the ramp to join his cousin Jey Uso inside the ring.

Corey Graves and Michael Cole give a quick run-down of Jey Uso’s assistance in the match at Survivor Series between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.

Reigns stops on the outside of the ring, at the bottom of the stairs. Jey claps for his cousin, sans-smile as Reigns finally joins him in the ring as the crowd continues to “boo” the Universal Champion. Reigns again holds his title high above his head, looking around at the crowd full of monitors as the fans “boo” even louder. Jey hands Roman the microphone with a huge smile on his face, his hands on his hips.

Video Clip – (Last Week)

Roman Reigns is heard saying backstage after the Tradition 5 on 5 SmackDown vs. RAW match at Survivor Series to his cousin Jey Uso, “You lost, you lost because you didn’t have control of your team. They don’t respect you, they don’t respect me. You can’t make them respect us, then you don’t have a place at the table. Go find your brother and get out of my arena, I don’t have time for losers.”

(Later That Night)

We then see the Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre match in stills and quick clips where Reigns was unable to pin McIntyre, McIntyre hit the Claymore and Reigns fell into the official, no one able to count McIntyre’s pin for the win. Jey Uso is then seen running to the ring to assist his cousin, Reigns. A Low Blow followed by a Superkick at the assistance of Jey Uso, then a new official called the match as McIntyre passed out to the Guillotine. “The bloodline remains strong!”

The clip ends and we return to the ring. “After the Survivor Series match, what did I tell you to do? I told you to leave, but you didn’t. Did I ever tell you I needed help with Drew McIntyre? No, I didn’t. Let me ask you this. How do you think you and my team, Team SmackDown lost at Survivor Series?” Jey responds, “They wouldn’t listen Usse.” Reigns asks why they didn’t listen, then responds, they didn’t listen because they don’t fear Jey. They don’t fear Jey because they don’t respect him. If they don’t respect Jey, they don’t respect Reigns.

Back Inside The Ring – Jey Uso and Roman Reigns

“If I’m not the head of the table, you must think I’m some wanna be bitch in the locker room begging for Thanksgiving leftovers. If people look at me like that, then how do they look at you?”

Reigns continues on, “How does our entire family look at you? Is that how you feel about me? Because that is how you’re making me feel through your failures. And I don’t like the way you’re making me feel.” Roman drops the mic and heads out the ring, but not before angrily glaring at Jey Uso. Roman leaves up the ramp and Jey takes his time leaving, visibly upset for being scolded by his cousin once again, publicly.

Otis vs. King Corbin

Out comes Otis for our first match-up of the evening! Otis makes his way down the ramp as his music sounds in the ThunderDome. Jey Uso attacks Otis with a steel chair, taking Otis down before he can make his way into the ring for his match with Corbin. Uso beats Otis with the chair again, again, five times before using the chair to choke Otis. Uso tosses the chair aside and gets the chair, says something like “you wanna get that money?…(here’s) your damn money!” Uso then uses the chair to strike Otis twice more as a ref comes out to shield Otis and we head to our first commercial break of the evening!

Announcement – Regarding Otis’s Match

When we return from the break we’re told that Otis cannot compete currently, so whether the match will take place tonight is left up in the air.

Video Clip – Replay From Moments Ago

Back from the break and we see what Jey just did to Otis. We also see how Chad Gable and a referee helped Otis to the back during the break.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Street Profits vs. Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler

We return to the arena as both Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode make their way to the ring as their music sounds in the ThunderDome for this non-title match. They make a few slick comments regarding Otis on the way to the ring. They then talk about how they want the smoke… no, the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, from The Street Profits. The music interrupts and out comes SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Street Profits, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. Red cups fall on the stage as Ford and Dawkins take the mic. They talk about taking the torch from RAW Tag Team Champions The New Day at Survivor Series. They then joke about Roode and Ziggler. The Profits are up and they want the smoke.

As both teams get ready for the match, the crowd chants for the Street Profits. Dawkins and Ziggler start off. Ford quickly comes in for a double team. Roode runs in but he gets double teamed. Ziggler runs in but Dawkins sends him down on his face. Dawkins goes back to work on Roode and hits the jumping splash in the corner. Dawkins keeps fighting both opponents. Dawkins with a bulldog to Roode and a big Spinning Neck Breaker to Ziggler.

Braxton begins by welcoming Bryan and stating “In just a few moments, you will have the opportunity to get one step closer to obtaining the Intercontinental Championship turning into a reality… what is your strategy?” Bryan states that “zen” and “acceptance” is his strategy.

Bryan continues that he has to accept that Sami Zayn, who Bryan has known for 15 years, is now delusional. What he does do, is use every loophole. Tonight Bryan is here to break Zayn’s delusions. Bryan adds that Zayn thinks everyone is out to get him. Here’s the thing, Bryan is not out to get Zayn, he’s out to get his championship. When Bryan beats him tonight, he’ll be one step closer!

Corbin knocks Dominik’s in-ring skills and Aalyah’s bad judgement in character. He also calls out Murphy for riding Rey’s coattails while they’re still worth something. Murphy looks to buck up but he’s held back as Corbin walks off.
