At WrestleMania 36, Charlotte Flair challenged Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship. She ultimately came out on top and became the new champion. This was certainly a decision that fans did not expect.
Now Flair will be appearing on NXT as the Women’s Champion. According to a report by Alex McCarthy, he spoke to Charlotte and revealed that she will be defending the title across every WWE brand.
I just spoke to @MsCharlotteWWE. The new NXT Women’s Champion says she plans to defend the title across all three brands and is excited at the prospect of facing the talented women in NXT.
It was also said that they have “only scratched the surface” with the programme between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley. Due to the company’s current filming schedule, it would actually make it easier for her to appear on all three brands as they are all filmed from the WWE Performance Center.
It will be interesting to see how they handle her booking.
