Randy Couture Leaks Conor McGregor Paycheck

Randy Couture is not only a UFC Hall of Famer but one of the best fighters to ever put on a pair of gloves. However, he recently argued that top UFC star turned boxer Conor McGregor should have done more to fight against allegedly low fighter pay in the UFC. Conor McGregor recently called out this ‘scripted’ UFC fighter.

In a recent interview with MMA Fighting, Couture criticized the Irish heavyweight by not doing enough on this key issue and stated thatt McGregor could have been more transparent on the pay disparity between boxing and mixed martial arts. Couture would also state how McGregor bringing in Dana White and the UFC would ultimately would prove to be a mistake.

In addition, Couture disclosed the massive amount of money that McGregor made in his highly-hyped fight against Floyd Mayweather – a staggering one hundred million dollars. Credit to SportsKeeda for the following quotes.

“The guy that really had the chance to shine a light on it was Conor McGregor. He got a boxing license. As soon as he got a boxing license, it rendered his UFC contract null and void. He had the protection of the Muhammad Ali act when he became an official boxer with that boxing number,” Randy Couture said.

Conor McGregor was attacked by this A-list actor. Couture continued: “He chose to bring Dana White and company back into that when he could have done all that on his own, kept all that money to himself and shine the light on the problem in the sport of mixed martial arts. He chose not to do that. He made $100 million off of that fight with Floyd Mayweather. That’s more than he’ll probably ever make in MMA to be truthful. I think it started there,” Randy Couture said.
