A number of main roster stars have made a surprise appearance at NXT shows in the past couple of weeks and it made people wonder if the company has any special reason behind it.
Now a report from Cagesideseats has revealed the reason why almost half a dozen main roster stars from both Raw and SmackDown have made House Show appearances for the Development Territory.
According to the site, the company is sending stars who are not being used in any storyline in either of these shows in hopes to bolster the ticket sales for the Live Events.
This is believable since previously there have also been reports of WWE possibly sending main roster stars back to NXT in order to improve their performance.
Now it’d be interesting to see if any more stars make similar appearance in upcoming time and if it ends up becoming a frequent thing.
