CM Punk is a guest analyst on WWE Backstage, but many fans want to see him make a return to the squared circle. However, that simply does not seem feasible right now.
Rey Mysterio spoke to Sportskeeda, where he talked about CM Punk’s situation. Mysterio would love to see Punk make an in-ring return in any way possible. Rey knows it is entirely his decision as to what he wants to do.
“I think definitely we would all love to see CM Punk back eventually. Whether he comes back or not is up to him – but I enjoy having him around, even if it’s just with his FOX role. But we all enjoy seeing CM Punk in the ring. I doubt anybody out there would say, ‘Nah, I don’t really want to see him back.’ He has a great personality, great character and he’s great in the ring.”
The road to Wrestlemania will begin soon and many rumors regarding his in-ring return are bound to start. It is the same case for Edge. However, Edge’s return to the ring seems more likely than Punk’s.
