Rey Mysterio, Dana White, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and other big names wrote a letter to a judge trying to get former UFC and WWE star Can Velasquez out of jail after he allegedly tried to murder a pedophile. They want him to mount his defense from home instead of a jail cell, TMZ reports. Scott Coker, Brandon Moreno, and Islam Makhachev are also on the letter. The judge has denied Cain bail.
Well-known Lawyer Mark Geragos is representing Cain Velasquez in this case. After the UFC star was denied bail in the San Jose shooting case, Geragos voiced his disapproval with the criminal justice system. https://t.co/r8PgonpZZT pic.twitter.com/PlfsaYYOAn

An old video clip of former UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov started surfacing. It showed The Eagle rebuking a fellow fighter and questioning his hunger to succeed.
Khabib Nurmagomedov blasts fellow fighter
‘The Eagle’ retired from professional mixed martial arts last year after his exquisite submission win over Justin Gaethje. The victory took his record inside the octagon to 29-0, and he can address as one of the greatest lightweights of all time. He is currently focusing on his coaching career and the video from last year is evidence of how serious he is about it.
Here is what he said:
“You don’t even do half of the morning training. You skipped almost 50% of training sessions – how do you want to see results? How old are you? 22? You already have to compete, what are you doing? You have to decide for yourself, who are you, are you a fighter or do you work somewhere? Do you even make money for a living? You have to compete for every three months, 22 years, you have everything, do you hear me? Decide! For how many years have you been training? You come for one month and you are absent for three months. You are somewhere in Russia, in the prison, I don’t know what are you doing?
“In my 22 I made 15 fights, not taking into account jiu-jitsu, combat sambo. We fought everywhere we could. Two days by bus, 2.5, three days by train just to compete somewhere.”
