While his future with the company remains in doubt, former World Champion Rey Mysterio has expressed the desire to end his career in the WWE.
Mysterio recently spoke to Noelle Foley for Ringside Collectables and when asked about a WWE return, the Master of 619 said that he would like to close his career in the company:
“It is in my agenda. I would definitely like to close out my career with WWE, with that being said, I don’t have much left on my watch. So I’m thinking anywhere from three to five years and I can really see a possible return to WWE without a doubt.”
Rey Mysterio last appeared for WWE during the Greatest Royal Rumble and he has been in talks with the officials since his return to the company in January.
The last we heard, Rey was negotiating a 3 years, part-time deal with the Officials but so far there is no word yet on when he may actually sign the contract.
