WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley is reportedly exploring the possibility of a name change to enhance her presentation as the current SmackDown Women’s Champion. At a recent live event, Ripley asked ring announcer Byron Saxton to introduce her as Rhea “Bloody” Ripley before her match against Shotzi.

While it’s unclear if WWE will officially adopt the new moniker for Ripley, her request indicates her desire to continue evolving her character and presentation in the industry. It’s not uncommon for wrestlers to change their names to create a fresh start and new identity for their characters.

Ripley’s reign as SmackDown Women’s Champion has been successful so far, and she is scheduled to defend her title against Zelina Vega at the upcoming Backlash pay-per-view. A win over Vega is expected, but fans are excited to see what Ripley’s next move will be after the event.

With her possible name change and continued character development, Ripley could potentially achieve even greater success in WWE. After all, the WWE Draft will be taking place on Monday Night RAW tonight and The Judgment Day could potentially get split up, which is something she wants to avoid.
