Roman Reigns humiliated Logan Paul in a new private plane video, stating his ‘one punch’ was ‘not enough’ to beat him at Crown Jewel. Watch video below.
WWE successfully completed the Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The show was loved by everyone and fans are still talking about it. It gave the fans a level of satisfaction that the WWE can deliver on all parameters without having to worry about the ratings.
The matches were spectacular and the fans loved every bit of it. While all superstars were healthy, one superstar reported being sick to the show. According to the ever-reliable Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Drew McIntyre was not feeling well and was down with the flu over the past couple of days.
Despite the situation, he worked on through the match and the show and delivered a performance with his on-screen nemesis, Karrion Kross. Here’s the word that came out of the show:
The word at tonight’s Crown Jewel PPV is that Drew McIntyre had been extremely sick with the flu over the last several days but gutted through his steel cage match with Karrion Kross despite it. McIntyre was said to be adamant that no matter what, he would make it to the ring and work and was able to do that today.
It’s clear that the company wanted to safeguard Drew McIntyre, but Drew wanted to complete the match without having to worry about his performance or his health. He delivered well and put on an excellent performance. WWE had to pull him off of a live event back in September, in what was considered a case of bad food poisoning.
Do you think this was right on Drew McIntyre to work with the flu? Sound off in the comments.
