Roman Reigns ‘Losing’ To Smackdown Diva?

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns is certainly one of the top Superstars in the company right now and has been on a solid run as the WWE Universal Champion, but he is losing his top spot to two WWE Smackdown women. Roman Reigns successfully defended his WWE Universal Championship against WWE Hall Of Famer Edge and Daniel Bryan in a triple threat match in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania 37. Roman Reigns is also putting over a new WWE Champion.

WrestleMania 37 also featured Bianca Belairs squaring off against Sasha Banks in a Smackdown Women’s Championship match in the main event of Night One of the pay-per-view. Ultimately, it was Bianca Belair who emerged victorious in the title match and became the new Smackdown Women’s Champion in the process.

According to a recent report by Sports Illustrated, the internal reaction to Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks’ WrestleMania match was overwhelmingly positive. In fact, it was so good that it is now the top program for Friday Night Smackdown.

This means that Roman Reigns’ Universal Title picture is now in the second position. This is unlikely to be received well by The Tribal Chief.

Internally, Banks and Belair is the single biggest narrative in WWE, with the work of universal champion Roman Reigns a close second.
