Could we see the return of good guy Roman Reigns? While that is very unlikely, the Rated R Superstar, Edge recently stated during a new interview with the Asbury Park Press that this is the version of Roman Reigns that the fans have wanted to see for a very long time and he wonders how fans are going to react to the current incarnations of Roman Reigns and Edge at WrestleMania 37. “An audience has never seen this (version of) Roman Reigns, and I think this is the Roman Reigns they’ve wanted to see for a long time. So how are they going to react? We don’t know. How are they going to react to me at this stage and kind of flipping the switch on finding the old Rated-R Superstar? Who knows. I think the bottom line is you’ve just got to hope they react. And I’d like to think, as starved as we all are just for entertainment and a walk back into whatever our new normal is, I’d like to think that’s going to be a pretty ravenous crowd, reaction-wise.”
Edge will take on current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and ‘Leader of the Yes movement’ Daniel Bryan during night two of two night extravaganza. WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place on April 10 and 11, 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
