NetherRealm Studios hosted a reveal event today in London for Mortal Kombat 11. While there, the studio prepared to answer some of the fanbase’s biggest question and address any rumors that were circulating about the game.
One of those rumors involved Ronda Rousey, WWE’s Raw Women’s Champion, voicing Sonya Blade. Well, at the event, NetherRealm confirmed it and showed a reveal trailer with Rousey working in a sound booth portraying General Blade.
Rousey said that Sonya Blade was one of her childhood heroes growing up, and she emulated much of herself after the MK icon. Now, she has a chance to bring her own flair to the role when it releases on April 23rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
