Kenny Omega will be defending his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 13. It will be a huge turning point in his career. However, it seems that his time with New Japan Pro Wrestling might be over.
According to Bodyslam.net, Kenny Omega will be done with New Japan Pro Wrestling after having worked in the company for many years. However, Wrestle Kingdom 13 might not be the last we see of Omega in the company.
Apparently, a huge angle has been booked for their show, the next night. This could very well be a send-off or beat-down for Omega, which will be similar to what AJ Styles went through three years ago before he left for WWE.
It is still unclear whether Omega will go to WWE or not. So we will have to wait until tomorrow to see what happens.
