Samoe Joe suspended by WWE for violating the wellness policy

In a shocking turn of events, WWE has announced that Monday Night RAW superstar Samoa Joe has been suspended for a total of 30 days due to violating the company’s wellness policy, effective Monday, February 24th.

As confirmed by WWE on Twitter, this is Joe’s first violation in the company and the news of his suspension initially broke days after it was revealed that the former United States Champion had suffered a bizarre injury while filming a commercial.

The former NXT Champion had been sidelined with a thumb injury for a sustainable period of time and had only made his return to WWE TV recently. Having joined forces with the likes of Kevin Owens and The Viking Raiders, Joe found himself engaged in a feud against Seth Rollins and his disciples.

However, Joe’s absence from WWE TV has been significant, as he missed out on this week’s edition of RAW which saw Owens align himself with The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders once again.

With Joe being suspended by WWE, the former US Champion now joins reigning champion, Andrade and becomes the second superstar to have violated WWE’s wellness policy within the span of a month.

They went out of the way to deny he was going to be suspended and then suspended him. Looks like they are just as reliable as the dirt sheet writers they bash.

He violated the same time as andrade but they (wwe) couldn’t have them both out at the same time. It doesn’t take a genius to see this!

The match with the Raiders and Profits was last week, not this week. Owens fought Orton this week.

As for Joe, this all seems a bit weird. Rumours circulated a few weeks ago that he violated the policy, but that was debunked and it was said he had a concussion.
Then he gets injured doing the commercial, which was why he was off TV last week and now he is actually suspended for wellness violation.

Something weird is going on here.
