Seth Rollins might be looking to feud with Cesaro after ‘The Swiss Superman’s’ failed attempt to win the WWE Universal Championship during Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view event. However, one current WWE superstar is looking to back up Cesaro after the heinous post-match attack by Rollins. Shane Thorne, the former Slapjack of Retribution fame recently took to social media via Twitter to issue the following proclamation: “Hey @WWECesaro want some back up? We can make our own table” The former Retribution member added a gif of King Arthur’s round table to really drive the point home – as the round table never had a ‘head’. As of this writing, Cesaro has not responded to Thorne but it can be speculated that this could potentially lead to something that heads to WWE programming. Perhaps we could see Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns against Cesaro and Thorne in a tag team match, or perhaps this simply goes unanswered. It will be interesting to see what develops out of this particular tweet from the man formerly known as ‘Slapjack’.
Cesaro took on Roman Reigns in a classic encounter during Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania Backlash event where Roman Reigns won via submission to retain his WWE Universal Championship. Rollins would then attack ‘The Swiss Cyborg’ and then issue the following the statement to the WWE Universe post-match. Credit to SportsKeeda for the below.
