Shane McMahon has been away from WWE for quite some time now. It turns out that is because he has some other venture outside of Vince McMahon’s company. Shane O Mac is not becoming the Chairman of WWE anytime soon as that position is held by his father but he was announced as the new executive chairman for Ideanomics. Shane McMahon is glad to serve as Chairman of Ideanomics
According to the company’s official website, Ideanomics’ mission is:
“to act as a catalyst for disruption to those industries where improvements in sustainability, transparency, and freedom of choice would have profound benefits on a global scale.”
Shane McMahon is very happy about this new appointment. He included a quote in the official release concerning his new job where he spoke about how proud he is to take the gig. He said:
“We recently launched the transformation of Ideanomics as we vertically enter the exciting EV and hydrogen fuel cell space. We now have a powerful management team in place to ensure Ideanomics’ success. I’m proud of what the new team has achieved in such a short amount of time and more importantly, I am thrilled for what’s yet to quickly come. I look forward to helping the company’s growth, vision, and momentum stay on track as we enter this new phase for Ideanomics.”
