Shaquille O’ Neal opens up on WNBA players

During an interview, Shaq was asked if anyone in the WNBA could face him one-on-one. Keeping his accomplishments in mind, Diesel confidently answered with a strong “No”.

Over the years, the WNBA has grown into the best league in women’s basketball. This is down to the confidence and skill that the modern-day WNBA player has in their game. However, the WNBA and the NBA are still miles apart. The skill level is not even comparable, and players, both current and former alike know it. Shaquille O’Neal, who was asked if anyone in the WNBA could beat him one-on-one he answered with a ‘No.’ his answer was “No”.

It’s important to note that Diesel isn’t trying to slight women’s basketball. He is just stating facts, there are very few NBA All-Stars, let alone WNBA stars that could stop a prime Shaq one-on-one. Although a case could be made when discussing today’s Shaq. But, given how jacked he is looking and the time he puts into fitness nowadays, it would still be a tough match.
