During this week’s Smackdown, General Manager Paige announced that Carmella will defend her Smackdown Women’s title against Asuka at Extreme Rules next month.
This a rematch from their outing at Money in the Bank which ended in an abrupt fashion after an interference by James Ellsworth. Ellsworth will also have an intergender match against Asuka next week on Smackdown.
