Popular rapper Snoop Dogg’s affinity for marijuana is not a secret. His professional blunt roller recently revealed that she was forced to have a ‘roll off’ to bag the coveted job. She admitted that she originally thought the gig was a ‘scam’.
Snoop Dogg reveals the payment
Back in 2019, the rapper appeared on the The Howard Stern Show alongside fellow pot enthusiast Seth Rogen, where he was asked why he required a blunt roller.
Snoop simply replied: “I don’t have time.”
He went on to say that his roller’s timing was ‘impeccable’, with a knack of appearing with a blunt in his hand just at the right moment.
“That’s his J-O-B, his occupation. On his resumé, it says, ‘What do you do?’ ‘I’m a blunt roller. P-B-R, professional blunt roller.’
“If you’re great at something I need, I’m hiring you.”
Snoop also revealed that he paid the roller ‘somewhere between $40,000 and $50,000 a year’, along with perks like ‘free week’ and ‘all paid expenses’. Fast forward to 2022 and the person with the no doubt surreal career is someone called Renegade Piranha, who also happens to roll joints for Kid Cudi, among other celebs.
She appeared on The Review podcast with Yarmacrazy, where she discussed how she managed to get involved in working for Snoop.
Renegade recalled:
“I knew a girl that knew the grow that was dealing using Snoop’s Premium Nutrients, which is a brand he has of really amazing premium nutrients for you to grow really amazing… premium things with. o they were looking for someone to roll up for him, versus them just gifting him all the tree, and the girl – I guess – told these people, like, ‘Yo, I know this chick. She rolls the best blunts. You guys should have her do it’.”
