Stephanie McMahon Gone From WWE?

Stephanie McMahon is the chief brand officer (CBO) of WWE and appears as an authority figure on the Raw, NXT, and SmackDown brands. She was announced that position after several years as Executive Vice President of creative in 2007. As Chief Brand Officer, McMahon has led efforts to further enhance WWE’s reputation among business partners, investors, and those within the media. Stephanie McMahon’s daughters are all grown up in wholesome recent photo.

 


 

Recently, she has announced that she will be taking time away from her line of work to focus on her family. McMahon made the following announcement on social media via Twitter and although she has every intention to return to her position, there is currently no timetable for Stephanie McMahon to return to the WWE. McMahon’s post read as follows.

“As of tomorrow, I am taking a leave of absence from the majority of my responsibilities at WWE. WWE is a lifelong legacy for me and I look forward to returning to the company that I love after taking this time to focus on my family.”

In other news concerning Stephanie McMahon, ‘The Billion Dollar Princess’, two-time WWE Slammy Award Winner and former Women’s Champion recently told Deadline that WWE is a better advertising investment than sports. Her argument stems from the fact that they script the majority of moments and own all of the IP involved so it’s an easier process altogether. “We can script the buzzer-beater moments, we can script the Hail Marys,” she said. “We have a leg up on sports. You may object to what we do, but you’re never going to be bored.”

McMahon added that WWE has a much easier process in dealing with sponsors. Everything is handled in-house.
“We own all of the IP,” she said. “When brands deal with us, they just deal with us. We create something together.”
