Jim Ross sheds praise on Steve Austin

JR talked about it on his Grilling JR podcast. The WWE Hall of Famer said he spoke to Stone Cold Steve Austin before and after WrestleMania 38. Ross then praised Austin for his performance at ‘The Show of Shows’, saying the latter didn’t miss a step:

“He and I talked going into that thing and we communicated on Saturday after the show. He seemed to be really happy and almost relieved that they pulled it off. He and Kevin Owens deserve a hell of a lot of credit for what they did. To show you what kind of ballplayer Austin is, he hadn’t been on the field for 19 years or something like that and he didn’t look like he missed a step.”

Johnny Knoxville talks about his in-ring future

Speaking about ‘Jackass’ actor Johnny Knoxville, he recently opened up on his future with WWE and stated that he wants to step inside the squared circle again. Knoxville isn’t booked for any upcoming shows and it seems that his current run with the company has ended but that doesn’t mean he can’t compete in the ring down the road.

The actor had first stepped inside a WWE ring earlier this year in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. He was the ninth entrant into the match and lasted a minute and twenty seconds before he was eliminated by Sami Zayn. The rivalry culminated in a match between the two at WrestleMania when Knoxville picked up the win.

On the latest edition of WWE’s The Bump, Johnny Knoxville reflected on his experience at WrestleMania and commented on whether he would step inside the ring again.

“I would love to come back any time. I hope it’s not the last time you see me. Man the last four months have been insane, from the Royal Rumble all the way to WrestleMania. It’s pretty great. I was looking at my old outfit, it’s in the closet today, going ‘Aw, Remember when I used to be a wrestler’ . . . There’s a lot of wrestling, WWE fans out there. Especially among my friends. It made me happy that so many people are such big fans. It was one of the best experiences in my life.”
