Steve Austin vs. The Rock ‘Censored’ On Peacock

Let me start off by saying that Peacock TV censors a lot of WWE television. Was this warranted however? Did peacock really have to do this to stone cold Steve Austin and The Rock? WWE ‘Ban’ Fans From Network Due To Peacock.

It was recently brought to our attention by Billi Bhatti on the ‘Dirty Sheets’ podcast that Peacock TV censored a match that featured Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. Peacock has censored a lot of WWE footage which included topics that should indeed be censored as they featured racism and sexism.

The Rock vs Austin match at hand is none other than the match in-which Steve Austin swore up and down during his beat down of The Rock with a chair after turning heel at WrestleMania 17. Austin’s choice wording is now muted.

As stated earlier, some things are warranted to get rid of. WWE does not, by any means, have the best track record. However, is swearing truly something to be overly concerned about? Will Stone Cold’s beers be censored out next and replaced with photoshop jobs of apple juice instead? That’s to be seen I suppose. One thing is very clear, the Attitude era is over and never making a return at this rate.
