Sting was one of the most iconic members of the nWo Wolfpac in the late 90’s, and The Bullet Club teased a Wolfpac revival on AEW Dynamite last night. The Young Bucks, Karl Anderson, and Doc Gallows dropped the hints during a backstage interview.
The Young Bucks said, “Sting’s around the corner, can we do it in the back when it’s just us? It’s just our thing.”
Karl Anderson added, “Sting’s a Wolfpac guy.” The Bucks seemed embarrassed.
Anderson added, “Red and Black.” He then said to Sting off screen, “Stinger, will you ‘Too Sweet’ me?”
Sting was also interviewed later by Tony Schiavone, but Taz was then showed backstage to ‘Team Taz’ dragging Darby Allin in a bodybag in the parking lot on a truck. This led to Sting to scramble backstage to try to stop this heinous action.
Sting is scheduled to have his first match in nearly 6 years at AEW Revolution on March 6th when he teams with Darby Allin against Brian Cage and Ricky Starks in a tag team street fight.
Sting debuted in AEW in December, and has largely served as a mentor for Darby Allin, though he did tease a potential feud or alliance with Cody Rhodes.
NEXT WEEK The @YoungBucks put their #AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line against top contenders @Santana_Proud & @Ortiz_Powerful.
