There have been some speculations regarding The Rock and CM Punk potentially making WrestleMania 39 appearances. ‘The Great One’ teased making his return to WWE to confront The Bloodline. A match between Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania has been slated for a long time, as the company had constantly dropped teases for the same for well over a year.
However, the match was never booked at the Show of Shows. The Rock simply couldn’t be ready in time to wrestle at WrestleMania 39. That said, fans never gave up hope for a future match between the two.
The Great One took to Twitter and uploaded a video, where he sent words of encouragement and praise to his fellow WWE Superstars ahead of WrestleMania 39. Interestingly enough, The Rock would go on to tease making his WWE return in order to confront The Bloodline.
