Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has already issued his first statement as official part-owner of the league that is becoming “The Little Engine That Could” of the football world, the XFL.
“The Great One” took to social media to release his first official comments as one of the new part-owners of the XFL along with two other companies.
“With my trail blazing partner Dany Garcia Co. & Red Bird Capital, we have acquired the XFL,” wrote The Rock on Monday afternoon. “With gratitude [and] passion I’ve built a career with my own two hands and will apply these callouses to our XFL brand.”
He concluded his statement by writing, “Excited to create something special for the fans! #XFL #fullcircle.”
