The former WWE star The Rock has been planned to put in a storyline with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns down the road. Recently, Jimmy Uso was arrested on the charge of DUI and speculations started circulating that he will be pulled out from WWE programming but that was not the case.

The Rock wanted Jimmy Uso to stay?
During Wrestling Observer Radio Dave Meltzer spoke about why WWE did not pull Jimmy Uso from programming. It was also speculated that the future angle involving The Great One could be the reason. He said:
“I don’t know if Roman went to bat for him. My gut is that they just decided that they got this main event angle. because it does include The Rock and it does lead to WrestleMania and [Jimmy Uso] is involved in it in some form and, you know they don’t wanna screw up The Rock’s angle. When I ask, it’s like there’s nothing happening. It’s not like this is something they can look the other way on, but that’s what they are doing.”
It was noted that WWE could always suspend Jimmy Uso later on and that would give him time to get back into the storyline for any angle with The Great One and it is likely to be at WrestleMania. We will see what is next for Jimmy.
