Amid the multiple reports of Daniel Bryan signing with AEW, Tony Khan seems to have dropped some hints on the signing.
Tony Khan confirms Daniel Bryan signing?
On the latest Keepin’ it 100 podcast, Konnan said he wanted to book Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) in AAA and had asked Khan if Danielson is signed with AEW. The AEW President apparently confirmed the signing. CM Punk Makes Huge Wrestling Announcement
Konnan said:
“I will tell you this because I did ask Tony Khan. The only reason I asked him is because I wanted to use Bryan Danielson in AAA. I was like, ‘hey man, have you signed Bryan Danielson?’ He goes, ‘you know I can’t tell you that’ and then I looked at him and I go ‘bro, if that **** shows up in Chicago, that place is gonna melt’ and he just smiled so I think he might have but he has not told me.”
No confirmation has been made by AEW or Bryan but seemingly they have agreed upon a deal. It was noted previously that people in WWE believe he is headed to AEW. WWE also sent out a memo to let the WWE 2K22 game developers know that he should not be included in the game.
There are currently no plans chalked out for Bryan’s AEW debut but he could be making his debut at All Out pay-per-view in Chiacago or a latter event in New York City.
