IMPACT Superstar Rich Swann suffered an ankle injury at the company’s Bash at the Brewery 2 pay-per-view. This resulted in Swann having to miss his Hard to Kill match where he was supposed to team up with Willie Mack and challenge for the Tag Team Championships against The North.
However, this was converted into a handicap match that saw Mack taking the loss against the champions.
Now, IMPACT has announced on their official Twitter handle that Swann underwent surgery for his ankle injury yesterday. The company wished him all the best and wished for his speedy recovery.
Wishing @GottaGetSwann all the best as he goes into surgery today. Get well soon! pic.twitter.com/G91sZpcBM8
