Triple H Fires ‘Several’ Big WWE Names

There has been a lot of controversy going on over WWE referee Drake Wuertz. As it turns out Triple H has fired Wuertz as per the news broken by Sean Sapp of Fightful Select.

 


 

Drake Weutrz has been released from WWE

Wuertz was previously indefinitely suspended from the WWE Performance Center for a period of time due to controversial views regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. It was reported that he had missed last week’s edition of Monday Night Raw. Stephanie McMahon Fired Two WWE Divas.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select first reported the news on Twitter. He said that the talents and staffs from Performance Center have informed that Wuertz is no longer with the company. A WWE star threatened to beat him him, and he was accused of racism.

He wrote:

“Word among talent and staff at the WWE Performance Center is that referee Drake Wuertz has been let go. I’ve reached out to WWE for a confirmation on this, and clarity on the situation.”

John Pollock also confirmed the news of the release on Twitter. He wrote:

“Source has confirmed to me that Drake Wuertz has been released by WWE, first reported by @SeanRossSapp.

Was informed that there were other cuts as well.”

Another WWE referee Jake Clemons has also been released by the company, along with Alexander Wolfe and Drake Younger. This news has also been reported by Sean Sapp. He took to his Twitter account and wrote:

“We’ve been told that referee Jake Clemons has been let go from WWE NXT as well, unfortunately.”
