Triple H has reportedly received a ‘quiet demotion’ within WWE

According to the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the backstage role of Triple H has changed in recent times and people within the company have  called it a “quiet demotion” for the game.

The former World Champion had been working as the Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events & Creative since 2013 but his title has now been edited to being the Executive Vice President of Global Talent Development & Strategy.

Previously, his main job with the company was being the head of talent relations but the position has now been taken over by Vince McMahon’s Chief of Staff Brad Blum.

Blum is now in charge of negotiation with the talent while Triple H’s main duties now are operation of NXT, selling the NXT TV rights to oversees partners, and overseeing the global expansion of the NXT brand.

Another interesting thing to note here is that these ‘curious’ changes were kept quiet for 5 months before being revealed by an SEC filing recently.
