It has been noted that Rose is scheduled to defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Cora Jade at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver. During the latest episode of WWE NXT 2.0, it was announced that Jade will challenge the Toxic Attraction leader for the title. Jade and Rose have been involved in a fiery rivalry and the challenger lost her previous shot at the title when she competed in a three-way match but now she has the opportunity to win the title.
NXT Stand & Deliver will take place on Saturday, April 2 from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The event will air live on Peacock and the WWE Network, with a special start time of noon ET due to WrestleMania 38 Night One kicking off just a few hours later. The NXT event is reportedly scheduled to run for 2.5 – 3 hours.
While Trish believes she has some more left in the tank. Alongside Lita, they were the first to main-event an episode of Monday Night RAW. The duo also competed in the first Women’s Royal Rumble match and at WWE Evolution, the company’s first-ever all-women pay-per-view.
Trish Stratus talks possible title run
During an appearance on the After The Bell, Lita explained that, like Stratus, she’s prepared for one more title run.
“I do want to continue to train, not actively for a championship, but knowing the way that WWE works, you get those opportunities a lot of times without notice,” said Lita. “One thing I wish is that I would have had a little bit more time to prepare. If I’m closer to being ready, my body already feels good, and if there is an opportunity to seize that fifth title run, I’m ready.”
We will see what future awaits for the WWE legend.
