Trump Explodes At Supreme Court Over His…

Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, “IF IMMUNITY IS NOT GRANTED TO A PRESIDENT, EVERY PRESIDENT THAT LEAVES OFFICE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY INDICTED BY THE OPPOSING PARTY. WITHOUT COMPLETE IMMUNITY, A PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PROPERLY FUNCTION! Without Presidential Immunity, the Presidency will lose its power and prestige, and under some Leaders, have no power at all. The Presidency will be consumed by the other Branches of Government. THAT IS NOT WHAT OUR FOUNDERS WANTED! WITHOUT PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY, IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR A PRESIDENT TO PROPERLY FUNCTION, PUTTING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN GREAT AND EVERLASTING DANGER!”

Conservative attorney George Conway expressed his belief that former President Trump is likely to face a significant loss in his Supreme Court case regarding presidential immunity. Conway discussed this matter in an interview with CNN’s Jim Acosta, noting that while there might be some complexities in the court’s opinion, he ultimately expects Trump’s argument to fail decisively.

The case revolves around whether former presidents can be criminally prosecuted for official actions, particularly concerning Trump’s activities on January 6, 2021. Conway emphasized that the outcome of this case could impact Trump’s existing legal challenges, including his recent guilty charges in a hush money case and three other indictments.

Regarding the timing and implications of the Supreme Court’s decision, Conway acknowledged the potential for the case to proceed swiftly, potentially affecting Trump’s campaign plans. He pointed out that any trial could begin around mid-September, a crucial period for Trump’s electoral strategy.

While discussing the court’s handling of the case, Conway dismissed suggestions of a conspiracy to delay proceedings to benefit Trump. He emphasized the importance of this decision, describing it as one of the most significant the Supreme Court has faced in recent times. Despite the anticipation in Washington, Conway predicted that the court’s ruling would be issued by the end of June, aligning with the conclusion of this year’s term.
