Trump Son Announces Mass Firings After Wife…

It has been noted that Eric Trump claims his wife’s leadership was needed in the Republican National Committee (RNC) to “restore trust” and also clean house of “Never Trumpers” via Mediaite.

Lara Trump was recently elected in March with Michael Whatley as co-chair of the RNC. It has come to light that the staff layoffs began in a matter of days, and prospective applicants were reportedly asked their opinion on whether the 2020 presidential election was stolen.

She’s vowed to spend every penny on getting her father-in-law, Donald Trump, elected president in November. In a Wednesday interview with Brian Kilmeade on Fox & Friends, Eric Trump applauded his wife and Whatley and said they’ve done a “great job.”

“Not many people thought, as much as your wife is great on camera, not many people thought she was going to do something with two little kids, go across the country, and take over the RNC. Why was it necessary for her and Michael Whatley to take it over?” Kilmeade asked.

“They had to restore trust in the RNC. The first thing that they did is they went in there, and they got rid of the vast majority of the RNC, and there were a lot of Never Trumpers there, I hate to say it,” Trump responded.

He also claimed there are no more “silly” expenses, and getting rid of “Never Trumpers” had a quick and positive impact.

“The second they did that, all of the sudden the spigots got turned on and, you know, there was confidence,” he said. “The RNC and the campaign are working as one right now.”
